Dinas Planning is delighted to have made the  RTPI Cymru Awards for Planning Excellence 2023 Shortlist. The RTPI Cymru Awards for Planning Excellence showcase and celebrate the best plans, people and projects. The coveted awards recognise and highlight the positive contribution planning professionals make. 

The joint entry with LivEco Homes for LivEco @ Great House Farm was entered in the Excellence in Planning for Communities (small schemes of 50 or less)  – Wales category. 

The Great House Farm project was completed in 2022. It sets standards in sustainable development far beyond regulations and streets ahead of open market developers.

LivEco has built unique homes for a growing market in sustainability aware homeowners, to achieve high performing energy efficiency and to harness renewable energy to minimise carbon footprint.

This ethos was continued throughout from conception, through design, build and incentivising low emission living.The scheme was planned against a challenging background including heritage, restrictive planning policy, ecological, landscape and arboricultural constraints. It delivers a truly exemplar development. Residents are reaping the substantial rewards in terms of wellbeing and low carbon living.

We are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the winners in July 2023.
